In order to enrich students' extracurricular life, on the afternoon of 11th November, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the east campus organized an activity called ‘You Play and I Guess’.
In this activity, students from all classes actively participated. Initially, the head teachers read the rules of the game. Afterwards, a representative was sent to demonstrate the prepared words without speaking. The performer and the student who guessed the question were in perfect harmony with each other. More remarkably, the participants used their body language and imagination to their maximum.
On the one hand, the contestants interpreted the meanings of words with graceful dance, or expressed the meanings of words with moving faces, or used the homophony of certain objects to perfectly express the correct answer; On the other hand, students in charge of guessing words filled their mind with visions and ideas, and came up with countless relevant words in a very short time, who cooperated perfectly with their partners.
To sum up, throughout the event, everyone was in high spirits in an active atmosphere. Furthermore, this activity created a platform for students to improve their understanding with each other. Additionally, through the tacit cooperation with each other to complete the questions, students not only enhanced their friendship, but also reinforced the cohesion of the team.
